Isla is Spanish for island, which is the whole idea: a low oval set down on its own, with space cleared around it the way water clears around land. Shallow and wide, it reads more as a surface than a vessel — a place for citrus or stone fruit, for the small things that collect by a door, or for nothing in particular, which is often when a bowl looks best.
Each Isla is carved from a single block of marble and finished by hand in our Rajasthan atelier, where roughly forty artisans cut, shape, and polish the stone. Drawing the oval from one block means the veining travels unbroken across the basin and over the lip; it also means no two pieces are the same, and that each carries the full weight of the block it came from.

Care Instructions
Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid acidic foods, harsh chemicals, and abrasive pads. Marble can be buffed with a clean natural oil to restore its shine. Brass and aluminum will slowly deepen in color, gathering the soft patina that comes only with time and touch.

Shipping and returns
Orders are typically shipped within 1-2 business days, unless fabrication is required. Standard delivery times vary by region, with express options available at checkout for faster shipping.
Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery and incur a 10% restocking fee plus $15 return shipping. Choose store credit to waive fees. Exchanges are always complimentary.
