Our Story

Heirloom marble and metal objects, designed in Connecticut and crafted in a dedicated atelier in Rajasthan.

Anastasio Home is a design studio and atelier producing limited-run objects for homes, hotels, and brands. We work in Indian marble, travertine, solid brass, and cast aluminum, shaping raw materials into trays, bowls, boxes, vases, and furniture made to last. Every piece is hand-finished by skilled artisans. Nothing is mass produced.

MEET OUR FOUNDER

GABRIELA ANASTASIO

Anastasio Home was founded in 2021 by Gabriela Anastasio. Before that, Gabriela spent more than fifteen years in design and communications across design, fashion and the luxury watch industry, most recently as director of communications at a Swiss luxury watch brand, telling the stories of dedicated craftspeople. From centuries-old Italian high jewelry houses to Nordic lighting designers and New England furniture makers, she learned that the best luxury is rooted in the hands that make it.

That experience shaped everything about how Anastasio Home operates: a deep respect for the people who make things by hand, a belief that great design starts with great materials, and a conviction that luxury should be built to last. As a first-generation American and woman in business, Gabriela brings a reverence for craft that crosses borders.

The Atelier

We work with a dedicated atelier in Rajasthan, India, and build lasting relationships with the artisans who make our pieces. Our stone pieces are carved and polished there by hand. Our brass and aluminum pieces are cast and finished by hand. Every object passes through human hands at every stage.

We work in small batches, often tied to a specific stone lot. We design around what the stone gives us, and we never force a run beyond what the material allows.

Our Materials

We work mostly in India's native stones, available locally to our atelier in Rajasthan. A small team also travels to quarries across India, sourcing remnants of unique and imported marbles. Each stone carries its own veining, tone and character, so no two finished pieces are ever quite the same.

Our metals, solid brass and cast aluminum, are cast by hand and left unlacquered, designed to develop a natural patina over time. We believe an object should show the life it's lived.

We work with interior designers, architects, and retailers worldwide. Our trade program offers preferred pricing, dedicated support, and access to our full catalog for qualified professionals.

We partner with designers, stylists, and tastemakers on limited-edition collections that bring new perspectives to our materials and forms. Each collaboration is produced in small runs and never repeated.
