Our Materials

Every Anastasio Home object starts with the material itself. We work with Indian marble and cast metals — each selected for its character, durability, and the way it ages over time. Our stones are often sourced as remnant slabs, upcycled from larger productions and given new life in our atelier. Our metals — solid brass and aluminum — are cast and finished in our own foundry. No two pieces are alike.

Marble & Stone

Sourced as remnant slabs from larger productions, our Indian marble and travertine are hand-carved and polished in our atelier in Rajasthan. Each stone carries its own veining and tone — no two pieces are identical. Wipe with a soft, damp cloth; avoid acidic substances and harsh chemicals.

Cast Brass

Solid brass, cast and finished by hand in our foundry. Each piece is unlacquered, meaning it will slowly oxidize and deepen in color with time and touch. Polish with a gentle metal cleaner to restore brightness, or let it age on its own. For decorative or dry use only.

Cast Aluminum

Lightweight and durable, our aluminum pieces are cast in the same foundry as our brass. Aluminum is the lowest maintenance of our metals — simply wipe clean with a soft cloth. It holds its finish well over time while offering the same sculptural quality as our heavier pieces.
