Imperial Glass introduced its No. 400 Candlewick line in 1936, adapting the beaded edge from the Colonial needlework called candle wicking after its designer encountered a French line ringed with heavy glass balls. This oval dish carries the beading around the rim and again as two short handles, with an internal partition dividing the well. Imperial produced the pattern in more than six hundred forms until the factory closed in 1982.

Care Instructions
Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid acidic foods, harsh chemicals, and abrasive pads. Marble can be buffed with a clean natural oil to restore its shine. Brass and aluminum will slowly deepen in color, gathering the soft patina that comes only with time and touch.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind, shaped by hand from natural stone or cast metal by skilled artisans in Rajasthan, India. Subtle shifts in tone, texture, and form are part of its story—variations we embrace, whether born from the earth or the maker’s touch.
