Avaline × Anastasio Home

Season of Reds

Introducing a hosting duet designed in collaboration with Avaline for the season ahead: a Wine Chiller and Wine Coaster, each cut from a single block of Cabernet Red Marble. Avaline's wines are made in Europe with organic grapes and zero sugar. Simple and pure, like the ethos we share.

Questions

What is the Avaline × Anastasio Home wine chiller?

A wine chiller carved from a single block of Cabernet Red Marble, made with Avaline for their red wines. It is 4.75 inches across and 7 inches tall, wrapped in the twisted rope of our Cord Collection. It is a numbered edition of fifty-five and ships from November 1.

What is Cabernet Red Marble?

The stone of this collaboration: a deep red marble veined with cream and gold. The veining is natural, so no two pieces are alike.

How is it made?

It is designed in our Connecticut studio and made by hand in a dedicated atelier in Rajasthan, India. Each piece starts as a single block of marble: machines rough out the shape, and the rope, the form and the finish are carved and worked by hand.

How do I care for marble?

Marble is porous, so wipe away drips of wine soon after pouring. Clean it with a soft, damp cloth and a pH-neutral stone cleaner when needed, and keep it out of the dishwasher. Acidic cleaners, bleach and abrasive pads will mark it. Sealing is your choice: it slows staining but does not make stone acid-proof.

Can I send it as a gift?

Yes. Gift wrap is complimentary on request, and we ship to any address you give at checkout. The Wine Coaster ships in 3 to 5 business days; the Wine Chiller ships from November 1.
