Pyramidal studs set in diamond formation across the front, with an iron hasp to hold it shut — built, clearly, to guard whatever it once held. The whole face drops open to reveal the drawers behind: three single drawers across the top, and one long drawer below, spanning the full width on three rings. The wood is dark and dense, worn close to black and banded in iron at every edge.

The Big Box Drop is a collection of 100 antique trunks, personally sourced by Anastasio Home across Rajasthan and released in small batches. Each piece is selected through the lens of form, originality, and detail — defined by its unique silhouette, richly aged wood, and the sometimes clever intricacies of its construction, from hand-worked closures to glass-paneled fronts and iron embellishments.
Care Instructions
Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid acidic foods, harsh chemicals, and abrasive pads. Marble can be buffed with a clean natural oil to restore its shine. Brass and aluminum will slowly deepen in color, gathering the soft patina that comes only with time and touch.
Each piece is one-of-a-kind, shaped by hand from natural stone or cast metal by skilled artisans in Rajasthan, India. Subtle shifts in tone, texture, and form are part of its story—variations we embrace, whether born from the earth or the maker’s touch.
