Anastasio Home's Hospitality Program produces custom marble, stone, and metal objects for hotels, restaurants, and hospitality groups — guest-room amenities, tabletop and bar, lobby and common-area pieces, and branded objects, made to order in our own atelier and foundry. We work with properties from new builds to refreshes, in runs from twenty pieces to several thousand, at contract pricing. Designed in Connecticut and made in Rajasthan, India.
This guide covers what a property can source, how to specify stone for daily service, how a contract order moves from brief to delivery, and how pricing and minimums work.
What you can source
The retail collection is the starting point; most pieces can be produced in a different stone, finish, or dimension, and new forms can be fabricated to a property's brief. Hospitality partners most often source:
- Guest-room objects — trays, catchalls, boxes, and vanity pieces for the nightstand and bath. Trays & catchalls
- Tabletop and food service — coffee and tea service, serving boards, and coasters in stone and metal. Drinkware
- Bar — coasters, ice buckets, and serving pieces.
- Lobby and common areas — sculptural bowls and vases that anchor a space with material weight. Bowls
- Branded and amenity collections — custom stone, finishes, engraving, and packaging in your identity. Private Label
Specifying stone for daily service
Hospitality use is harder on an object than a private home, so material and finish decisions matter more.
Material
Marble is a calcite stone — calcium carbonate — rating about 3 on the Mohs hardness scale, and it reacts with acids: citrus, wine, and vinegar will etch a polished surface. Stone can absolutely be used with food and drink; left as is, it develops a patina of use that many properties choose to embrace. Travertine, a porous calcium-carbonate stone deposited by mineral springs, carries a softer, open texture. Metal pieces in brass and aluminum are produced for decorative use. Finish and upkeep
A honed, matte finish disguises etching and everyday wear better than a polished one, which makes it the practical choice for surfaces in constant service. Sealing and coasters keep a piece closer to new; left unsealed, stone is meant to record use. See our care guide for upkeep.
Consistency across a property
Because we select stone by the block and run production end to end, we can hold a colour and vein across an order — twenty nightstand trays or two thousand — so a material reads consistently from room to room. Natural stone varies, and that variation is expected and specified for.
How a contract order works
The process is built for properties:
- Brief. Share the property, the spaces you are outfitting, and references — mood boards, plans, or a single image. New builds and refreshes alike.
- Concept and sampling. We propose materials, forms, and finishes, then carve a sample for approval — the piece in hand before a run begins.
- Production. On approval, the order is cut, carved, and cast in-house, to a firm schedule with updates throughout.
- Quality check and delivery. Every piece is inspected at our Connecticut studio, then shipped to one property or many across regions.

Pricing, minimums, and lead time
Hospitality orders are quoted at contract pricing by quantity, material, personalization, and packaging. We produce runs of every size, from boutique inns to international groups — twenty pieces or two thousand. Lead time depends on quantity and personalization, since every piece is made to order; sampling precedes any full run, and we confirm a firm schedule before production. Start well ahead of an opening or a refresh date.
