Weighty and refined—the Mortar & Pestle transforms a kitchen essential into sculpture.

Designed by Anastasio Home, each mortar and its matching pestle are carved from single blocks of stone and polished by hand to a mirror finish. At 6″ across, it’s scaled for grinding spices, pastes, or herbs with ease—functional enough for daily cooking, sculptural enough to remain on display.

Care Instructions
Wipe with a soft, damp cloth after use. Avoid acidic foods, harsh chemicals, and abrasive pads. Marble may be buffed with a touch of clean, natural oil to restore its shine. Brass and aluminum will slowly deepen in color, gathering the soft patina that comes only with time and touch.
